Project [Due Feb. 19/ Feb. 20]:
Make an art project that explores the experience of living through and with technology/networks/social media. You can make it very personal or investigate peoples experiences more generally.
The project can be realized in any medium: Social media performance, photo, installation, sculpture, painting, a website, software, etc. The project should be documented on a web page, including a description and some kind of visual documentation. Link to the page from your homepage.
For example, you could explore social media memes by creating your own, avoid technology completely for a week and document your experience, do a performance within a social media platform, propose/write a bot that inserts unexpected information into a social network, make "real life" representations of online people/phenomena, draw a map of a social network etc. Be creative!
